Education
I just recently graduated from University of Würzburg with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Before that I studied Korean language and economics for one year. I graduated from university with 1.6 (equivalent to a GPA of 3.3-3.7) I also studied one year abroad at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul.
Experience
I have experience in teaching young children (age 8-12), as well as teenagers and adults. I tutored mostly teenagers in Germany (subjects: English, German, Latin) and students and adults in South Korea (German, English). I taught English to children in Vietnam (International Kindergarten and English Institute). I prepared students who studied German at university for their final exams. I love teaching and tutoring, because it is exciting to observe other people's learning progress. I am patient and understanding, since I'm learning new languages myself. I usually invest a lot of time in teaching pronunciation at the beginning, as many foreigners struggle with it and are disappointed when native speakers don't understand them later on. After this, I teach easy grammar to construct first sentences. Weekly short stories that have to be written and read are part of this learning process. In combination with speaking exercises, role plays and fun conversations, you will improve your skills within weeks! Whether it's because you just want to learn a new language or would like to study or work in Germany/an English speaking country, I will help you get there! With my background of studying Psychology, I can also give you some tips on how to study effectively and work together on studying schedules.
